Recordkeeper: (Part III) You have to find 9 notes scattered across Monkey Island. Move one of the sticks periodically to prevent the game from pausing, which can glitch the achievement. Ten Minutes Later: (Part I) When Guybrush is stuck underwater, do nothing for 10 minutes. Or you can just keep learning new insults and comebacks and wait for the achievement to pop. A full list of the insults and responses can be found in Part 1 of this walkthrough if you'd like to keep track of the ones you have. You can intentionally lose more matches (and potentially hear new insults) by saying things like “Oh …yeah?” Learn new responses by saying a particular insult to all the different pirates until you find one that knows the corresponding response. Sharp Tongue: (Part I) Keep talking to the pirates wandering Melee Island, trading insults and comebacks until you learn 16 of each. Press again if you don’t like the change. If you want to get the miscellaneous achievements while using the walkthrough as little as possible here’s a quick achievement guide that keeps spoilers to a minimum: Alternatively, you could do a “just for fun” playthrough, an “achievement” playthrough, and then a dedicated speed run if you prefer. All of the achievements will slow down your playthrough and should be avoided on your speed run. If you choose to follow my advice and save the speed run for the second playthrough you’ll want to get the game’s miscellaneous achievements the first time around. Use inventory items by selecting your action, opening the inventory with, and selecting the item you wish to use.for "Pick Up", for "Talk To", for "Open", and for "Push". D-pad shortcuts are there to make things more user friendly.Hover the cursor over an NPC and will Talk To that NPC. Hover the cursor over a door and will Open or Close that door. is "Walk To" by default, but can be changed by opening the action menu with and selecting a different action. The controls for this game can take a little getting used to, so a quick overview is in order.
